"Your Best Life Now," by Joel Osteen - Book Review

Although I do not subscribe to a particular religion, and Joel Osteen writes from the Christian perspective, his book "Your Best Life Now" supports many of the same concepts and beliefs that I believe and that are shared in "The Secret." It's a positive, uplifting, and inspiring book that I am able to reread any section of again when I've had a rough day and I want to boost my spirits. Although I wanted to read it end to end without putting it down once I started it, the material, like in "The Secret" is so powerful that you really just need to read a chapter at a time and let it all sink in slowly, then reread as you like! If you're open to "The Secret" or "What the Bleep Do We Know!?" you will probably enjoy reading "Your Best Life Now" by Joel Osteen, and certainly if you are interested in the Christian religion you will enjoy it without a doubt!

"What the Bleep Do We Know!?" movie review

This is a really cool movie, similiar in thought to "The Secret" but with actual actors and a plot incorporated into the theories about spirituality, God, quantum physics, and science. There are many various interesting experts in "What the Bleep Do We Know" from the most spiritual to the most scientific of experts. The movie is kind of a prequel to "The Secret" and also features a few of the same people in both movies (the quantum physics scientist, and another guy - I can't remember his name). If you like "The Secret" you will likely enjoy "What the Bleep Do We Know" - it has more science and also more comedy, but presents the same theories in different ways. I highly recommend both movies, and it doesn't feel like that much overlap even though they both support each other.

The Secret (movie)

"The Secret" movie is one of the most inspirational films I have seen. Similar to "What the Bleep Do We Know," the secret gives us insight into the power of the law of attraction. Specifically, whatever we focus on, consciously or unconsciously, expands in our lives.
