I WATCHED THE SECRET MOVIE YESTERDAY, AND I AM INTRIGUED BY THIS CONCEPT OF THE LAW OF ATTRACTION, HOW WHAT WE DO AFFECTS WHAT GOES ON AROUND US, AND HOW IT SEEMS TO RELATE TO GOD, I DO GO TO CHURCH, BUT I AM A LOGICAL PERSON, I NEED FACT TO BACK UP A A THEORY, SO IT SEEMS HARD SOMETIMES TO FANTOM THAT ONE SPIRIT, ONE HOLY ONE, OUR GOD CREATED THE EARTH, THEN THE ANIMALS ,US, THE BOOK OF GENISIS,OUR LAWS WE HAVE MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO CREATE A HUMAN JUST BECAUSE YOU ANNOUNCEC IT, OR INSTRUCT IT, OR MAKE OUR EARTH JUST BECAUSE YOU INSTRUCT A SPHERE TO APPEAR, I NEED FACT, AND OUR PHYSICS DONT PREDICT THAT THIS CAN HAPPEN LIKE THAT, IN MY MIND I HAVE BEEN TRYNG TO FUGURE OUT HOW THE SECRET AND GOD GOES TOGETHER, ONE BIG PART THAT MAKES LOGICAL SENSE, IS THE POWER OF PRAY, IN RELATION TO "THE ASKING" PART FROM THE SECRET, IN PRAYER WE ASK FOR THINGS, BETTER HEALTH ETC, IN THE SECRET WE ASK FOR THINGS WE WANT, BETTER HEALTH, ETC, SOUNDS SIMIILIAR, SO WHEN WE SAY "OH MY GOD, HE ANSWERED MY PRAYER" COULD IT BE "THE SECRET', MAKES A PERSON REALLY HAVE TO THINK TWICE ABOUT ALOT OF THE THINGS IN THE BIBLE, ANOTHER SIMULIARTY IS THE GRATEFUL STONE, U KEEP A STONE IN YOUR POCKET, N EVERY TIME U TOUCH IT U SAY WHAT U R GRATEFUL FOR, WHICH IS ONE PART OF THE SECRET, IN PRAYER WE SAY WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR THE THINGS HE HAS GIVEN US, I KNOW MYSELF, WHEN SOMETHING GOOD HAPPENS TO ME I USUALLY ALWAYS SAY "THANK YOU LORD" I DID THIS MORNING WHEN WE GAVE ME A PARKING SPACE UP CLOSE TO MY SCHOOL, AS SOON AS I PULLED INTO THE PARKING LOT,I GOT A SPOT, TO PARK AT MY SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE, THAT MAY NOT SEEM RELAVENT TO SOME BUT THINGS USUALLY HAPPEN LIKE THAT TO ME AND I USUALLY ALWAYS SAY THANK YOU LORD, SAME AS THE GRATEFUL STONE, KIND OF LIKE AN AWE MOMENT WHEN THINGS LIKE THAT DOES HAPPEN, FAMOUS PEOPLE THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE USED THIS SECRET, RICH PEOPLE USE THIS, HOW DO U THINK THEY BELIEVE THEY GOT RICH, I TRULY BELIEVE THE CONCEPT OF IF YOU DO NEGATIVE THINGS BAD THINGS,NEGATIVE THINGS WILL HAPPEN TO YOU, I ALWAYS TELL MY KIDS, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO HANG AROUND BAD PEOPLE, U WILL DO BAD THINGS, THEY ARE LIKE NO MOM, I HAVE A MIND OF MY OWN I WOULD NOT DO BAD THINGS, BUT THEY R JUST STARTING TO SEE SINCE I HAVE INTRODUCED THE SECRET TO THEM, HEY MOM WAS RIGHT, MOM MADE SENSE, I NEVER KNEW WHAT IS WAS CALLED BEFORE I FOUND OUT WHAT THE SECRET WAS, NOW I KNOW, ALL OF THESE FAMOUS,RICH PEOPLE MUST DO SOMETHING DIFFRENT THAN ONES WHO ARE NOT, WE HAVE FOUND IT OUT NOW, AND I DO BELIEVE THAT I CAN DO ANYTHING AND ACHOMPLISH ANYTHING I SET OUT TO DO BECAUSE I HAVE FOUND OUT THE SECRET

Hello 'Bluebutterfly',

While I commend your general thematic approach to 'quelling religious skepticism,' some of the metaphor seems a bit oblique. Analyses follow: First, the issues of God and 'Heaven & Hell' are entirely separate themselves. For example, I believe in God, but hold no illusion as to a "place" where my corporeal remains/'bio-machine' will end up. Truly, the 'burden of proof' is actually on non-believers to overthrow the logic of KANT -- (see E.T.E./the Antinomy)! [This is not to mention Aristotle, Aquinas, and others who used logical analyses to (justifiably) posit the existence of a unified 'Creator.']  As for the people who attempt to use 'evolution' as an excuse to commit immoral/unethical acts; that's really all it is, an excuse! There is NO justifiable reason for anyone to commit any unethical acts. It is illogical to commit negative acts that might generally weaken the species. Therefore, it is illogical  to commit unethical acts; We have adjusted the lawsof society to reflect these ethical positions. 

Second, you are correct in attempting mediation between science and religion, indeed I've used 'wave-particle' duality to explain the two sides, and the privation of light and heat (energy) to explain terms like "dark" and "cold," as it relates to 'evil.' I've used 'black holes' to establish the laughable attempt by those who are more scientifically-minded to demand empirical evidence for the existence of God (see E.T.E). By the way, the 'everything & everyone' part is called  Deism.

Third, the law of 'like attracts like' is contra-scientia. While it is true that we get negative "vibes" from negative people, we ought not spend too much time around these types of people. BUT, it is our positivity that is being tapped by these negative people. Consequently, it seems more appropriate that 'opposites attract', and this is the general motif for the rehabilitation of the most negative members of our society. Indeed, my main goal as a philosopher is to enlighten those who have spent their spurious existence in Plato's cave. Only when Sophos - the light of wisdom - shines down upon our people can they truly unlock their true potential. More accurately, it would seem that it is less similar to 'like attracts like,' and more like 'positivity begets positivity' and 'negativity begets negativity.' Now, please explain how those indoctrinated by the scientific method are going to overthrow the 'conservation of energy laws'?

P.S. I have NEVER found one shred of evidence, in evolution (or any other scientific endeavor) that tells me 'there's no God!' If anything, studying cosmology is even more profound than many of the earhly legends. Indeed, it would seem like the greatest gift a creator could possibly bestow upon its creation is 'a mechanism that ensures positive advancement and progression, necessarily, anywhere (in spacetime) that life creeps up in the Universe.'

I went through a terrible time in my military youth when I went to the darkside...it IS a magnet. Prior to that, after 14 years in Church as a kid Protestant, I was sent to a Catholic High Skule for 4 years, where I fought every day because I wasn't one of their anointed ones. Bstrds! Clearly Christianity is not what it proports to be. Like George Carlin, I was Christian until I reached the age of reason. Yeah, I'm Agonstic now and proud of it!

I even tried "Turn the other cheek" on a Catholic bully, and the felt bad (because I had resisted doing what I should have) then, went to my Protestant Reverand...who had no answer! A year later, I got drafted and learned to fight back first...then ask forgiveness!
