Expanded Concepts - Part 2

Attitude of Gratitude:  until you're grateful for what you have and able to accept what is, you won't have room in your life for anything new that you want

Example from "The Secret" (or "What the Bleep Do We Know!?" - I can't remember which):  The "gratitude rock" that the man keeps in his pocket every day and whenever he touches the rock, either by putting his hand in his pocket, or emptying his pockets when he comes home, or filling his pockets when he gets dressed - he thinks of everything he's grateful for in that moment.  By maintaining an attitude of gratitude, good things continually flow easily into his life.  He showed a friend (I think from Africa) his gratitude rock and explained what he did with it.  A short time after his friend went back to Africa he wrote to him asking for one of his special gratitude rocks because his son had become desperately ill.  The American man sent him a few special gratitude rocks that he thoughtfully picked out from a stream and just months later the son in Africa was well again and the family had been raising money for charity by selling their own gratitude rocks!

How you treat yourself is the example for how others should treat you - so treat yourself well, treat yourself how you want others to treat you

When you think of yourself as undeserving and lucky to have almost anyone in your life, that is exactly what you will get - someone who thinks you're uneserving and lucky to have them and believes they can treat you however they want because you let them.  When you believe you're beautiful, fun, kind, light hearted, intelligent, loving, etc., that's the kind of person you will not only attract into your life, but that person will think all those wonderful things about you because you know that they're true, you wouldn't think anything less of yourself, so you don't let people in your life think anything less than that of you!
