Having Trouble Creating the Reality You Want, Manifesting Your Desires, Or Achieving Your Goals?

Here are some helpful tips if you've been trying to manifest or achieve something, but it just isn't happening.
1. Creating your own reality with your thoughts and feelings, is not about how hard you wish for something. If you're wishing really hard for something and just not seeing it happen, you need to do one or more of the following:
a. Let go of that desire for a while, giving yourself a break and detaching from your need for it to happen. For the next 2-3 weeks, don't take any actions toward trying to make it happen and stop hoping throughout the day that it will happen. When you can't let go of a desire, that is needing it and being attached to it, because you have the belief that you might not get it, and you're trying to will it to happen, and this does not work. Write down what it is you want in a safe place so you are free to let your mind forget about it for a few weeks. You know where to find your desire if you happen to forget it, so let yourself forget it. If it is something you actually want, but don't need, that break might be exactly what you need for it to manifest on its own or for you to get new perspective on how to achieve it. Or you might realize in that time that you don't actually want it anymore, and you'll be free to think of something you really do want to manifest.
b. Try something like Positive Affirmations, Clearing Negative Thoughts, or Visualization (if you haven't already) at night before going to sleep and in the morning right after waking up. These methods can reprogram your subconscious beliefs which is what may be holding you back from manifesting your desires or achieving your goals. If you believe you can and will achieve your goal at a subconscious level, you most certainly will achieve it. But if your conscious mind thinks you will achieve it, while your subconscious mind believes you won't, then you probably won't achieve your goal. By using one of these methods, or something else, to reprogram your subconscious mind, you will build beliefs that support your wishes and will no longer simply be wishing really hard for what you want, but you will believe you can and will achieve it, and it will manifest.
c. Do whatever it takes to make yourself believe for a period of time everyday that you already have what it is you want to manifest. If Visualizing and Affirmations aren't working for you, try journaling, or painting, or shopping - anything that puts you in the frame of mind that you have or are in the process of acquiring what it is you want. You may find that sitting in the lobby of a fancy hotel makes you already feel like the millionaire you want to be, more than any other method, so do that instead! If any method is not working for you, try, try again to find one that does! Remember to "stay committed to your decisions but flexible in your approach" - Tony Robbins.
2. Make sure that what you are going after, and Visualizing, or whatever, is what you truly want - if you can Visualize (and feel) already having it perfectly, but it doesn't really excite you that much, then you don't want it enough to manifest. Try the following:
a. Dream bigger! You might have chosen your "desire" based on what you thought you could achieve, but if it's not what you would choose from anything in the world, then choose again. Dream as big as you want even if you don't know how you will achieve it. If you Visualize something huge that you really enjoy visualizing but don't know how you would get it, you're more likely to succeed than if you Visualized something you only kind of wanted and knew more about how you could get it.

Nice compilation of the details. Thanks for sharing. I personally liked the Positive Affirmations, since I use that extensively. I use it with the Identity Statement. It works miracles. I learn it in one of the Tony Robbins program with some NLP techniques attached to it.

Perfect timing
I thought that the end of the moon cycle was playing into all of the negative energy/karma that has been hanging around myself and my friends. We all live a sizable distance from each other, and it seems that for every step forward we are taking, we all continue to be knocked two pegs back. We are all great people who like simple lives, stay under the radar and try to treat others as we wish to be treated. Yet for the last few months, it seems that no matter what we try to do or not do, the forces around us keep hitting us at work or in the pocket book. I printed your list and will be rereading them before I retire for the night. Why can't the world just leave us good people alone?
