Thoughts and words of Marie Diamond, Feng Shui Consultant from the movie, "The Secret":

We are the creators of our universe... be careful of what you wish because it will manifest.

She went to a wealthy art director's house, and he had artwork all over house with this same aloof, disinterested woman with her back turned, and Marie said to him, "I bet you have trouble in your romance."

He thought she was psychic or something, and she explained how he was attracting that sort of troubled love life by painting those paintings himself and surrounding himself with them.

So she asked him what he wanted and he said he wanted to date 3 women a week.  So she told him to paint himself with three women and hang one in every corner.

6 months later she ran into him and he was living that exact life, but now he wanted to stabilize with marriage, so she told him to paint it and he did, and 1 year later he was married and very happy.

He had wished for this life for years but hadn't been able to achieve it, because everything that surrounded him contradicted his desire.  It wasn't until his desires and his environment were in harmony, that he achieved his desires.
